A nursery program is available for infants and toddlers up to 3 years of age.

Children and Worship:

Learning begins with our children and as Linda Shaw, a trainer and National Co-ordinator of this program for the Presbyterian Church of Canada and our own Program Coordinator here at St. Paul’s states,   “as reformed Christians, we believe children are born with a capacity to be in relationship with God. We do not put this in them; that’s the way they come to us; but it is our task to help children mature in their faith. It takes parents, grandparents, family, friends and congregations working together to make it happen.”

To that end, three and a half years ago, Linda and her dedicated group of church volunteers, implemented the Children and Worship Program at St. Paul’s for children 3 years through Grade 5.  Children and Worship is a beautiful way to present Bible stories through worship.  This program helps children experience and learn about God; and is based on the philosophy of Maria Montessori who has revolutionized the education of children. Children are encouraged to take part in Church Services at regular times throughout the years and to attend Vacation Bible School and the many other activities provided for children and youth.

Paul’s People

The grade 5-8 youth enjoy their time together in the lounge in the lower hall of the church.  They study the great stories and personalities of the Bible and learn how God wants them to be and what God whats them to do. This fall they started using the Book of James to learn how to deal with problems that youth deal with on a daily basis.
