| Arthur found a very rare "treat" while walking in the woods of our local Backus Mills. Polyporus Sulfureous, otherwise known as Chicken of the Woods is edible when fresh. It is so rare, Arthur has seen only two others in Canada. Both of these were in Lennoxville, Quebec, one in the woods, and the other on a fence post in 1942. |
