Gavin competed in his second ironman event. He had hoped to improve upon his last timing and he did! Gavin He finished the race in 11 hours, 59 minutes and 6 seconds. His times for the three events are as follows.

He swam 2.4 miles in 1 hour, 5 minutes and 39 seconds. This is an average of 1.44 min/100 meters.	He then biked 112 miles in 6 hours, 4 minutes and 26 seconds. 18.4 miles/hour.
He then ran 26.2 miles in 4 hours, 25 minutes and 6 seconds. 10.08 min/mile	In a field of 2032 Gavin finished 792. He finished near the top third!!!
